In2tec Electronics (Shenzhen) Co., Limited, a subsidiary factory in Shenzhen of In2tec Ltd in the UK, specializes in quality membrane switch and sophisticated flexible electronic interface manufacturing with PCB assembly capability.
We are looking for the General Manager with significant manufacturing and operational experience to help develop a manufacturing centre supporting a global design and innovation company. The candidate will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of the flexible electronics market that the company has over 25 years of experience, working with products that will play a large part in markets such as wearable tech, medical electronics, sensor systems, aerospace and drone technology.

Role
Based in Shenzhen, PRC reporting to the CEO in the UK with focuses on teamwork, communication, and a strong desire for continual development of process and technique to drive the manufacturing center in line with the Strategic Objectives of the company;
Responsible for the day to day running, financial and legal requirements of the facility;
Demonstrate good overall knowledge of high quality electronic manufacturing methods in low and high volume with background of strong team management and objective delivery;
Think both strategically and tactically is a strong requirement as the role requires day to day support for the operations activities in China along with the focus on developing the manufacturing capabilities of a fast growing Flexible Electronic company;
Experience in managing multi-geographic communications and complex projects (manufacturing site evaluation, ERP system integration etc), electronic PCBA manufacturing processes, global purchasing strategies and modern quality methodologies would be strongly advantageous.
Main Responsibilities:
Heading up the company’s China-based manufacturing facility as part of a Global Senior Management team, the responsibilities will include:
- Management of the team consisting of operational employees in China. A strong focus on teamwork and excellence in communication is fundamental;
- Managing tactical day to day actions to provide a better working environment ( facilities management, supplier management , process and method, delivery/scheduling and manufacturing quality);
- Developing strategies for operational efficiency (process development, machine and equipment, capability and repeatability analysis, lean manufacturing );
- Driving the development of new and improved manufacturing capabilities. Help develop a first class operational team with a focus on future innovation and effective application;
- Providing support, guidance and training in the continued growth of capability within the team and company;
- Providing strategic support, ideas and driven application plans to the CEO in the growth of the business in the flexible electronics market;
- Ensuring that cost management is inherent within the teams activities and providing management metrics to support this.
Requirements
- Engineering/Manufacturing Qualification (preferably degree qualified in an Engineering discipline);
- Fluent in English and Mandarin;
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy to multi cultural paradigms;
- A minimum of 7 years experience in an operational management position
- Strategic mindset and application experience along with a pragmatic and can-do-sleeves-up attitude;
- Exposure and experience of purchasing and quality strategies (especially ISO9001 and ISO 14001);
- Commercial sensitivity and experience in cost management;
- Understanding and demonstration of project management principles and significant practical application.
