- Manage international clients, maintaining communication with them via email and phone, understand their manufacturing needs and match with the factories that can fulfill the order based on price, timeline, quality, etc.
- Manage and guide the staff from the company, by giving clear directions for every project that needs to be executed, help them with organizing each stage and execute it and give directions for follow up and keeping detailed file progress on each project for future references
- Be the liaison between the client and China-based factories, and being able to identify from our partners, the factory that matches the requirements needed for each client's project
- Follow up on clients request and come up with solutions, when a specific factory that will carry on the project execution and there are certain challenges in completing it, to be able to come up with solutions that will overcome the milestones and deliver the project on time.
- Previous trading experience is welcomed, and an understanding of manufacturing and sourcing will be useful in taking a full command of the position and ease into it faster
- Proficient in English is mandatory, Mandarin is optional, as both the communication with the clients and the factories is primarily in English, but a basic conversational level in Mandarin will be helpful in some communication with the factories
- Understand basic technology, metal machining, and processes, to understand the process along with coming up with the needed solutions when it's a more challenging or totally new product that needs to be created from zero
- Occasional International business trips
Requirements
- At least 2 years of trading experience
- Self-motivated
- Result driven
- Able to manage and motivate the employes
- Proficient in English is mandatory, Mandarin is optional
- Decision-making skills
- Independent
