Job Description

This is a new role, giving the successful candidate a unique opportunity to shape Aviation Week Network’s footprint in Greater China, including information services, marketing and events.

In conjunction with the Managing Director, Asia, the role is responsibile for total sales, revenue, and EBITDA performance for the Greater China market, and the development of Aviation Week Network’s local strategy.

Establish brand awareness at senior levels of government and business across a diverse community base, including Air Transport, MRO, OEM, Business/General Aviation and Defence.

Act as the senior focal point for a disparate set of existing in-country relationships – both internal and external – to build a robust, unified presence in Greater China.

Motivate the group by creating a fostering environment that challenges the existing status quo and takes Aviation Week Network to the next level.

Qualifications

15+ years' experience in at least two of Aviation Week Network’s customer communities in China, with an exceptional contact book to match.

Successful track record in building a new business or brand in China.

Demonstrated skills in strategy and execution coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Capacity to mould a disparate set of local partners and staff into a unified team that drives Aviation Week Network in Greater China with a single voice.

Graduate degree in business, aviation or a related field.

Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills as well as strong interpersonal skills in Mandarin and English.
