• The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, MD) preferred.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience leading operations to include direct experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or CRO for a company with a global footprint; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Visionary leader with demonstrated track record of success operating in China with global leadership outside of China.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to develop and execute aggressive sales strategies that achieve business growth and market share.
• Thorough understanding of cross-functional clinical processes including extensive knowledge of clinical trial operations and management.
• Demonstrated strategic planning experience and strong P&L management.
• Strong organizational agility, drive for results, cultural awareness and expertise in networking and building effective global relationships internally and externally.
• High level of regulatory knowledge required to sustain and grow business within established industry guidelines and requirements.
• Excellent communication skills including strong fluency in Mandarin and English.
• Strong negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand client needs and future insights translating them into business revenue and deliverables.
