General Manager - Mercure Birmingham West

The Mercure Birmingham West Hotel has 168 bedrooms & 15 meetings rooms accommodating up to 200 delegates. Guests can relax in the hotel restaurant & bar or enjoy the onsite leisure facilities, including a gym and indoor pool. The hotel is conveniently situated less than five miles from Birmingham City Centre. With good access to public transport, this hotel is easily accessible.

You will be responsible for:

• Your passion is to recruit, retain and motivate talent to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Lead the overall management and strategic direction of the property and support all departments to achieve exceptional guest service.
• You are business agile and driven to exceed targets both financial and qualitative.
• Strong commercial skills, able to support the Sales & Revenue Teams in driving Top Line.

Your experience and skills include:

• The opportunity to manage a fully refurbished 4 star hotel in a dynamic working environment.
• You must have 4-5 years Hotel General Manager experience  and be able to illustrate previous successes in a comparable environment. A proven leader who is able to inspire others.
