General Manager – Novotel Hamburg Central Station (m/w/d)

This Novotel is a new built flagship on an AAA location in the centre of Hamburg. With 227 hotel bedrooms in total and extensive F&B including conference facilities the hotel will gleam with the latest Novotel brand design concept. We are looking for a General Manager, who will be in charge of   the pre-opening phase, the opening in Q4/2023 and the positioning in the market of this hotel.

Your focus in this job will first be the pre-opening phase. Making sure the hotel is branded in the market and at the end of this phase you will have a clear view and ambitious plan in terms of:

• Organization of departments
• Casting & recruiting of the teams
• Training of teams
• Workforce planning & productivity management
• Sales & Marketing strategy
• Budgets & Forecast
• Distribution & pricing strategy
• Stakeholder management with all relevant parties 

Your experience and skills include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality management or similar education
• 5-10 years of experience as General Manager
• Experience in a full service hotel of a similar size and facilities
• Previous experience in pre-opening of a hotel
• Fluent in German and English language, any other language skills are a benefit
• Knowledge of the local market is beneficial
