General Manager - ibis budget Phnom Penh Riverside

You will be responsible for:

  • Successfully launch and introduce ibis budget brand to Cambodia Market
  • Lead the property’s effective operational and strategic directions within all departments to maximize revenue. 
  • Provide a level of service to guests that meets ibis brand (product and service) standards and exceeds guest expectations.
  • Ensure successful relationships with all stakeholders, including owning company, local authorities and surrounding communities.
  • Ensure successful hotel pre-opening and opening
  • Manage and develop the hotel’s talent through robust recruitment, learning & development, employee relation practices
  • Actively involved in the recruitment process of positions within the property to select the best fit
  • Promote the brand and ensure all brand essentials and standards are in place and executed consistently.

 

Your experience and skills include:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a General Manager in economy or midscale  hotel in Asia  preferably Cambodia / Thailand
  • Pre-opening experience is preferable.
  • Understand ibis budget brand
  • Excellent leadership skills; being enabling, collaborative, and entrepreneurial. 
  • Excellent negotiation, financial/analytical skills, rooms/sales skills and priority management skills.
  • Ability to create positive, effective and sustainable working relationships at all levels in all circumstances, both inside the hotel and in the local commercial & business community.
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated success in driving the commercial performance of the business and delivering on KPIs.
  • Can adapt and work within a different cultural environment, easily gains respect as a leader.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English. 
  • Speak Khmer / Thai will be a plus
