Job Description
Eaton's Bussmann division is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The Human Resources generalist will execute, manage or provide support in the daily functions of the human resources department (HR), including the selection and hiring process salary, indirect and / or hourly, labor relations, employee support, cafeteria , transportation, special events, administration of the TRESS payroll systems and Oracle System, training, communication and social responsibility. Internal and external audits, and ensure company policies and practices. Participate in or conduct compensation and benefits analysis. Prepares or ensures the additions, cancellations and changes of employees in the TRESS system. Supports or secures special cafeteria services and special events. Recruits, interviews and facilitates the hiring of qualified candidates for indirect and administrative positions; collaborates with managers and / or leaders to understand the skills and competencies required for vacancies. Maintains direct contact with HR Services and the Talent Acquisition Team for salary staffing requirements. Performs or acquires background checks and employee eligibility checks. Performs tasks necessary to administer and execute human resource programs, including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent; productivity, recognition and ethics; health and safety, training and development. Coordinate, manage, participate or support staff events. Review of, or creation of the annual plan, budget control, cost control. Handles inquiries related to the employment of applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and / or sensitive matters to the corresponding personnel. Attends and / or participates in employee disciplinary meetings, layoffs, and investigations if required. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, and best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintain HR KPIs such as headcount, turnover, attendance, absenteeism, and more. Prepares or provides support in reports of rotation, absenteeism, registrations, cancellations, HR scorecard, corporate. Coordinates, and / or supports the cafeteria process. Deal with supplier, menu review, daily service monitoring, control of special services, budget control. Responds to or supports audits of ISOTS 16949, ISO9001, ISO14000, CT PAT, STPS, OEA, and any other organization that is required. Performs other assigned tasks as needed. Comply with the procedures, work instructions and work regulations of the different management systems (ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16946, CTPAT, OEA and those that the company registers) Incumbent in accordance with the established manuals and guarantee compliance with the registers legal, quality, environment, health and safety regulations, OEA, CTPAT, etc. that fall within the company. #LI-MM3 Qualifications Required competencies: Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources Knowledge of the Federal Labor Law Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
