Main purpose and scope of job
The Inside Geo Account Manager role at NI is a customer centric role focused on achieving customer success using NI products and services across the geographical territory of the Great China.
By managing a territory and developing prioritized, customer accounts, the core focus of an Geo Account Manager is to find, develop and win opportunities to grow the territory revenue and achieve or exceed quota.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within B2B sales and a technical environment or background. This is an office-based role, so the ability to stay focused and be self-motivated is crucial, however you must also be a team player and work with the wider Sales organisation to ensure quota is met.
Key duties and responsibilities
Sales Driver
- A vision of mutual business success within their geographical territory.
- Managing and closing sales opportunities and pipeline.
- Achieve/exceed sales quota for the territory.
- Networking and discovery within territory accounts to engage new group, create and sustain valued relationships with customers, identify new qualified sales opportunities.
- Improve efficiency with remote-selling skills.
- Maintain high customer contact activity.
Customer Focus
- Approach prospects, identify customer needs and support their long-term success that results in repeat business.
- Planning and executing account development initiatives to generate demand in identified areas of certain industry.
- Effectively lead NI and partner resources to close sales.
- Demonstrate account knowledge and ability to drive revenue by utilizing sales systems and providing accurate forecasts.
- Demonstrate products and capabilities to customers.
- Manage opportunities and customer accounts.
Collaboration
- Lead through influence.
- Work internally as a team.
- Plan and execute policies of organizations.
- Be active in providing customer updates, product feedback.
Qualifications
Qualifications and job requirements
- Minimum Degree: B. S. in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Control Systems.
- Familiar with NI products.
- Minimum 9-18 months SDE experience and at least in Phase4 SDE assessment.
