SUMMARY:

DCW is taking the monitoring business to the next level. Have you worked with monitoring technologies, such as geotechnical monitoring, project connectivity technology, digital twinning, and reporting? Are you innovative and have thought about or seen ways of connecting solutions that should be connected? If so, DCW has a great opportunity for you to leverage your experience and build something that hasn’t existed before. DCW’s approach to integrating the construction project ecosystem has led us to expand into the monitoring business. By leveraging technologies from our joint venture founders and staying open to the integration of the latest and greatest technology, DCW Monitoring has a chance to impact how monitoring is done. If that excites you, keep reading. We are hiring a new position to deliver monitoring consulting services. We are not looking for a simple plug-and-play, experienced monitoring consultant. We are looking for someone who sees the monitoring business as a whole and has ideas of how things can be better connected. We want someone that thinks how things could be visualized better and has the drive to deliver client-focused custom solutions. Familiarity with the Sensemetrics brand or similar solutions is a great advantage to joining us. DCW has access to the products, solutions, and partner networks of Bentley’s Sensemetrics and Topcon solutions. Access to these products is a great foundation for our monitoring business, but we won’t stop there. DCW’s services and solutions offered to the market reflect what our clients are currently using and where they want to improve their outcomes. The ideal candidate will understand the difference between simply selling monitoring products versus delivering custom integration services with various monitoring products, solutions, and technologies.

 

Location:  This role is remote, based from a home office in the US

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directly engage in developing and delivering geotechnical monitoring consulting services with clients.
• Maintain a professional awareness of monitoring technology and the use cases of such technology.
• Consult with clients in the planning, implementation, and reporting of monitoring projects. Conduct site visits, oversee installations, and troubleshooting, while providing consultative advice as to changes to be made on monitoring projects.
• Learn and maintain a mastery of Sensemetrics products and similar monitoring solutions.
• Work with DCW monitoring partners who take the primary role of designing, installing, and maintaining various geotechnical solutions.
• Work with the DCW monitoring team to test and prove new technology integrations to the DCW Integrations Platform.
• Work with DCW project managers to write proposals, and assure client satisfaction through project delivery.
• Build a network of peers in the monitoring business and engage in thought leadership opportunities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s in Civil, Geotechnical, Construction, Surveying, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3+ years of field and office experience in geotechnical monitoring.
• Experience in consulting services or consultative sales.
• This role requires travel up to 25%
• Ability to plan short and long -term activities and ensure deliverables are met on-time and with accuracy.
• Strong teamwork skills, with experience in delivering services to clients.
• Experience in customer service and meeting the needs of project delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work remotely yet keep close working relationship with leadership and colleagues.

•  Relationship building. Adept at understanding the issues and constraints groups face and have a sense of how to find common ground among stakeholders and zero in on priorities and possible solutions.

• A collaborative nature to build consensus within a group, bringing a strong sense of respect and inclusiveness.
• Exceptional ability to communicate with partners and colleagues and build confidence at all levels.
• Ability to deliver critical and complex information to a variety of audiences in a credible and presentable way.

•  Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
