Background:
Intel is seeking for a German Tax Specialist to join its Global Tax organization. This role involves responsibility for managing day-to-day Tax Operations of Intel's German Legal entities. This includes both completing tax filings in the CIT and VAT area and maintaining relationship and partnership with key stakeholders such as Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury, Shared Services, External Advisors and the Tax Authorities.
This role will report into the Associate Tax Director in Munich responsible for German, Austrian, Luxemburg and Polish Tax matters.
Responsibility:
Support and complete tax filing activities in both Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Trade Tax, Withholding Tax and VAT for dedicated German entities
o CIT: support preparation of statutory tax calculation, tax filing and completion of E-Bilanz
o Withholding tax: complete withholding tax returns and applications
o VAT: monthly and yearly VAT returns for dedicated German entities
Responsibility for execution and monitoring of tax payments
Managing and facilitating the relationship with the Accounting Department who will provide input for VAT and other reporting
Understand and document local reconciliation in the transfer pricing area in close alignment with the Local Accounting Group
Responsible for business partnering with other business groups e.g., Treasury, Legal, Operations Finance Team
Tax audit support
Coordination of technical questions with tax advisors

Qualifications
Candidate should be a qualified Tax professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience
Fluency in both German and English is a must
Solid knowledge of Local GAAP Accounting (HGB)
Solid technical knowledge of SAP and DATEV
Strong technical knowledge on German tax matters of Corporations and Partnership Organizations (Corporate Income Tax and VAT)
Strong business partnering and influencing skills necessary
Ability to work autonomously
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear communication skills both written and verbal needed
Ability to work in a global Team which involves data gathering from multiple sources
Some business travel should be expected.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
