Jilin Normal University in Siping, Jilin province is hiring one German teacher for the upcoming academic year (starting end of August, 2016).

Candidate’s conditions:
1. Bachelor degree or higher
2. mother tongue: German
3. courses of 16 hours/week (listening, speaking, writing)
4. teaching plans need to be made by the teacher

The university offers:
1. A monthly salary of RMB 6000
2. Fully paid winter holidays: The teachers will be fully paid during the winter vacation with the sign and completion of one academic year contract*
3. International airfare: A round-trip ticket is offered for a one academic year contract*. The university will be responsible to send a school car to the airport two times for one academic year contract.
4. Travel allowance: The teacher will receive a travel allowance of RMB 3000 for the winter holidays
5. Accommodation: The university provides a free furnished apartment with heating, A/C, kitchen, bathroom, etc. Costs for water, electricity and gas are covered by the university.
6. Communication: An IDD telephone line that can access to the internet will be offered by University (The teachers need use their own computer). And the teachers can also visit the INTERNET at Internet café on campus. University will not be responsible for phone bill and internet fees.
7. Visa costs: The university will cover the costs for the residence permit in China.
8. Medical Expenses: The university shall buy medical insurance and pay a maximum 2000 RMB per year for out-patient treatment obtained locally within the Chinese medical system while in China (treatment for existing medical conditions, dentist, glasses, meals in hospital and non-treatment drugs are not covered).

*A one-year contract is 11 months, with classes being taught for 14 weeks each term.
