We are searching for a Global Account Manager to lead and purposefully expand our footprint within key Food & Beverage customers and the associated supply chain. As an executive sales professional and “best in class” account manager you who will lead our Siemens Digital Industries sales into the next decade of success. The Position You will be responsible for the development, exploitation and maximization of the global account penetration and profitable growth of the assigned Key Account. We’ll challenge you to take the opportunity to lead, develop and maintain a successful and mutually advantageous relationship with the C-level of one of Siemens’ most significant customers. You will need to analyze our client’s business targets & strategy, issues, needs, processes, value chain and key business drivers and efficiently transfer this knowledge our organization. Focus on and pursue strategic business opportunities by coordinating the activities of the involved divisions and regions. Represent the customer to the Siemens organizations and ensure a unified approach towards the customer. Align the Siemens business strategy and planning of the respective Siemens organizations with the strategic goals of the customer. Build/maintain balanced global relationships with the appropriate customer’s decision makers. Facilitate and plan relationships on executive and senior levels with the customer’s and Siemens’ management. Build and be responsible for the global account management team with members of all relevant Siemens organizations to develop business with the customer & meet the common goal: Profitable growth for our client and for Siemens. Your profile Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (BS in Engineering is preferred because we believe in understanding technical challenges); More than 5 years’ experience as a Key Account Manager / Senior Sales Professional / Sales Director, with a track record of successful performance (new orders and growing business), within the food and beverage industry; Demonstrated ability in leading sophisticated projects and customers successfully; Must have experience in working with extended teams across a diverse geography, willingness to travel to be able to support your extended family in the best way possible; Executive Level Presence / Communication & Strong Presentation Skills; Living in the Netherlands, since our global client has their headquarter in the Netherlands.
