Eaton’s Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Global Analyst, Materials Programs to join our team. This position can be based at our Beachwood, OH or Ellisville, MO locations. Flexible hybrid work schedule available. Position Overview: The Global Analyst, Materials Programs will support analytics, reporting, modeling, strategy development, road mapping, and implementation of SIOP and Materials (Inventory) initiatives across Eaton businesses and regions. Reporting to the Manager, Global SIOP & Inventory Programs, this role will work across functions, businesses, and regions to select, prioritize, develop and deploy standard processes that drive value creation across our Supply Chain. This person will support the Global SIOP Council and Global Materials Council (GMC) in ensuring we develop the "best-in-class" SIOP and Inventory Management processes & controls to obtain the aspirational goals defined by the Eaton Materials Strategy. Help to deliver a step change in our customer experience, inventory performance and inefficiencies/leakages mitigation (measured in OTD, DOH, Premium Freight, E&O, etc.). In this function you will: Manage & improve existing materials and/or SIOP reporting processes, with focus on standardization and leveraging technology/digitization across Eaton’s global footprint. Advanced analytics and data/scenario modeling across businesses & systems to create meaningful business insights, support operational performance, and communicate to senior leadership. Reduce inventory days on hand (DOH) to improve Eaton’s working capital and cash flow performance by supporting global businesses on key materials strategy & workstreams (including but not limited to – inventory profile, slow moving, inventory entitlement, profit planning, supply planning, inventory forecasting, receipts management and tracking, modeling in’s/out’s of direct material flows, value stream mapping, etc…) Support charter and activities of the Global SIOP Council and Global Materials Council respectively Coordinate and align materials analytics & reporting with global, sector, and business Finance teams Build organizational capability worldwide through updating, improving, and create new training resources, including collaboration with Eaton University. Internal and external benchmarking of materials and SIOP metrics/performance to facilitate standardization, sharing of best practices, and continuous improvement across organizational boundaries. Collaborate with the GSC CoE (200+ associates in Pune, India providing tactical and strategic support to Eaton’s global businesses) to advance materials processes and organizational capability Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years professional experience in Supply Chain, Operations or Finance experience. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH or Ellisville, MO will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering from an accredited institution. Demonstrated capability in advanced analytics, transforming large/complex data into simple/meaningful outputs which can be effectively communicated across all levels of the organization Strong financial acumen; understanding of major financial statements and interactions between them, with particular emphasis on inventory and its impact on working capital and cash flow. Extremely high quality and attention to detail Working knowledge on ERP/MRP systems and support systems (BI, ERP Heath Monitor, Power BI) Advanced understanding of SIOP driven Materials Management, including forecasting, planning, scheduling, capacity analysis, inventory management and scenario modeling Understanding of manufacturing processes Demonstrated ability in lean/CI/6sigma process improvement methodologies Ability to get results in a large/complex organization, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Global perspective and ability to adapt to different cultures, working with teams across the world.
