Main Responsibilities:

• Define the business strategy for Automation business unit and ensure its implementations within budget and assume full P&L responsibility. This include what technologies to adopt, what market segments to target, what expertise to develop or acquire and winning deals.

• Drive a system engineering team (Mechanical & Software Developers) of hardware, firmware and software resources to develop automation solutions.

• Articulate value proposition of automation and convince internal stakeholders as well as customers to bring sales margin for the company.

• Lead, evaluate and analyse Automation proposals with internal & external customers.

• Responsible for the development of Automation business and the day-to-day decisions to ensure achievements of top and bottom line objectives

• Achieve Industrial excellence by designing and implementing continuous improvement processes and best practices to support the effective management of the respective manufacturing plants.

• Identify/access risks and ensure appropriate strategies are in place.

• Ensure effective collaboration to all relevant functions to be in line with the company culture and Philosophy

• Work with sales teams to identify potential new customers

• Strong understanding of automation design, development and deployment for automotive, electronics, defence and LCD product manufacturing

Skills Required:

• University Degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering

• More than 15 years of experience in leadership function in automation development/RPA (Robotics Process Automation)
  

• Driven individual with strong business acumen and solid Business Background

• Good international and cross-cultural experience

• Automation deployment experience in one or more of these manufacturing, which is automotive, consumer electronics, defence, Preferably from automotive product mfg.

• Good working experience in deployment & managing automation lines for automotive products mfg.

Good knowledge of PLC, Solid works, AutoCAD and Project Management.

Preferred working location is in Philippines, but can also be in China.
