Job Description
We are seeking a driven and strategic Global Business Manager to be a key architect of our international expansion. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new market opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients worldwide. You will be the global face of Wedge Aviation’s technical excellence and manufacturing capability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a global business development strategy to identify new markets and key clients.
• Lead client engagement through conference calls, presentations, and technical discussions to promote Wedge Aviation’s capabilities.
• Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with strategic clients through international visits and consistent communication.
• Represent the company at major global energy and industrial trade shows (e.g., Power-Gen International, Turbomachinery Symposium).
• Analyze market trends, particularly in the power generation and data center sectors, to inform business strategy.
• Collaborate closely with our R&D and engineering teams in Shenzhen to align customer needs with our technical solutions.
Your Profile:
• Essential:
◦ Fluent (native or near-native) proficiency in English, with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
◦ Proven experience in international B2B sales or business development, preferably in industrial manufacturing, energy, or aerospace.
◦ Strong commercial acumen with a track record of identifying new opportunities and closing deals.
◦ Willingness and ability to travel internationally (approximately 20-30%).
◦ Basic conversational Mandarin Chinese capability.
• Highly Preferred:
◦ Proficiency in one or two additional languages, such as Italian, Russian, Spanish, German, or Arabic.
◦ Technical understanding or background in engineering, turbomachinery, or advanced manufacturing.
◦ Established network in the global energy or industrial sectors.
