The Position

• Fully in charge of the global PPS business, including product portfolio management, new market and application development, pricing management, product line strategy;
• Work closely with customers and commercial organization to define applications that are aligned with key trends in different industries, including business case, application requirements, product fit and value proposition etc.
• Work closely with Product Managers and commercial team in all regions to drive pipeline development, and project commercialization
• Steer R&T organization for key product development and application development projects
• Manage JV operation including communication with JV partner, contract, quality, manufacturing
  

The Ideal

• Bachelor’s degree and/or above in chemistry, chemical engineering, material or polymer science and engineering
• 8-10 years of working experience in engineering plastic industry, deep understanding of products and applications in different end use areas, especially automotive
• Inquisitive, strong willingness and ability to learn, engaging, self-driven, results oriented, operate with a high sense of urgency, work effectively in a global setting with people from different businesses, regions, and functions
• Dare to lead and willingness to challenge the status quo, out of the box thinker
• Good business sense and strong communicator in both English and Chinese
