Partner Services (PS) focuses on providing a relevant partner base with the best offerings to our guests. In order to do so, we engage with existing and future partners to realize this goal. 

To support our strategy, we are strengthening our Commercial Excellence team, which is part of the Partner Services Commercial Services Department. The Commercial Excellence Team is driving strategic business and organizational changes to become an effective channel to engage with our partners. Within this team, the Commercial Performance unpacks and builds out the company’s commercial strategy in improving the performance of our partner base. 

The new Global Capacity and Commercial Analytics Manager is a managerial and strategic role within the PS Commercial Performance team. Commercial Performance is crucial in defining and optimizing our future Global Supply management and Go to market (GTM) approach. Here we need your analytical and strategy skills to act as a strategic advisor to the PS Leadership on improving our commercial impact via our channels. You will be steering data-analytics on  global commercial (partner) effectiveness offering the right product-market combinations, cross channel optimization, target setting, monitoring, steering, and optimizing results. You will manage a team of 7 analysts/planners and help them to build frameworks, insights and logics to lead and optimize our short and long-term profitable relation with our partners. 

Leading Capacity Management, you are also responsible for providing  the business with advice regarding resource needs and availability based on business goals, and operational targets. The team creates workload forecasts, capacity plans, and submits FTE budgets to regional and strategic Finance. You are the key counterpart for operational stakeholders regarding capacity, staffing levels, and projects that have an impact on either available or required resources.

The role specifically contributes to strategic data usage to improve impact on our main PS business metrics: bookings, gross additions, (strategic) product implementations and adoption rates, channel conversion, capabilities and FTE.

You are good at prioritizing, and like working in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility, and openness to change are key in this role. You are capable of finding creative solutions to complex problems, and can deliver fast, and accurate results.

You have extensive experience in Workforce Management, resource planning, Commercial performance control, agile way of working and/or financial planning, and feel comfortable supporting the team building complex commercial and capacity models.

B.Responsible

  • Ensure timely and complete delivery of the agreed objectives for the team
  • Daily management of the Capacity Planning and commercial analytics team

Capacity planning:

  • Provide input and supporting story for regional partner services and digital budget round
  • Provide input and supporting story for Outbound Hubs budget round
  • Ensure timely availability of insights for the Operations related to Capacity
  • Develop/maintain global partner services capacity planning models

Commercial Analytics:

  • Commercial Performance analytics for PS channels (digital partner experience, regional partner services and indirect connectivity) 
  • Across channels, insights to improve the effectivity of our GTM approach and business impact
  • Building dashboards/reporting to steer on Accommodation Business Unit (ABU) targets and give feedback to ABU based on data insights (bookings, new partners, strategic product implementations and adoption rate etc.)
  • Developing commercial logics to increase scalability and commercial impact with PS channels 

B.Skilled

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Extensive knowledge of business planning processes in a commercial environment
  • Analytical (processes) knowledge
  • Travel Industry KPIs knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving, and modeling skills with ability to synthesize and analyze data to create useful information and concise analysis.
  • Have the ability to work autonomously, to meet tight deadlines, and to thrive in a fast paced environment under pressure.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and develop strong relationships with business leaders.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, tableau and/or other analytical tools
  • Organized, proactive and results oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.
