Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, related science field or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of relevant experience managing commodities.
- Experience managing and negotiating agreements.
- Ability to travel as required.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of commodity management experience with power electronics, conversion, and distribution components.
- Experience with Open Compute hardware, including 48 volt point of load.
- Understanding of worldwide power commodity supply base and technologies for server and storage infrastructure.
- Understanding of UPS, switching mode power supplies, including AC/DC and DC/DC board mount power conversion with various topologies.
- Understanding of rack bus bar commodity.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commodity strategies through close collaboration with Google engineering and commodity teams.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance in technology alignment, cost, quality/delivery, and implement supply chain improvements.
- Lead cross-functional teams through robust sourcing and supplier selection for new platforms.
- Conduct negotiations and secure comprehensive agreements with supplier executives.
- Maintain a high level of industry expertise and keep stakeholders aware of supplier/market conditions.
