PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Global Business Services (GBS) within the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Division has a global accountability to deliver an exceptional customer experience and create business value through compliance, standardization and data analytics. The GBS group fosters a collaborative, team focused and winning environment where employees are accountable and encouraged to develop themselves.
The Data Migration Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the delivery and execution of Data Migration projects, including, but not limited to, migration of master and transactional data from legacy ERP environments to global SAP ERP. Majority of stakeholders work remotely across the globe. Business trips may be required depending on project needs.

- Technical skills: Power BI (transformation), SQL/databases, Office 365, SharePoint, MS Project.
Duties and Responsibilities
Review, coordinate and plan data migration activities (requirements) within the provided project time frame. - 30%
Conduct business SME/technical team data migration workshops implementing data transformation rules as defined. - 20%
Lead the data migration team managing end-to-end ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) leveraging established data migration methodology. Coordinate the data extract and load program strategy between data and technical teams. - 30%
Ensure quality of documentation produced is in line with established protocols -10%
Act as the primary data team link between GBS, Business Units and global supply chain organization for data migration program assisting business SMEs in gathering data. 5%
Establish and embed end-to-end process KPIs and targets that track/monitor project performance. - 5%
EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant degree/experience set
Project Management certification (PMBOK, Agile) is highly preferred
SAP ERP experience is highly preferred
Power Query knowledge is highly preferred
5+ years of relevant experience
Proficient organizational and project management skills
Experience in leading data migration projects
Ability to execute and deliver tasks based upon defined timeline
Remote based management
English language proficiency
