Role Summary:
GE Healthcare Global Design has embarked on an ambitious journey that can help to fundamentally alter the way the world sees GE. Essential Responsibilities:
The Global Design internship program will provide students with a close-up view of careers in design, meaningful practical experience, and insight into the role of design in GE’s product development lifecycle. The Role: We want your fresh outlook on design, trends and problem solving. Design Interns work collaboratively, creatively, and flexibly within interdisciplinary teams and with our global work partners. GE’s world-class design process involves a broad scope of creative perspectives; exploring and defining design challenges; helping to define strategy; creating exceptional designs; and communicating these ideas. With the guidance and supervision of our Principals and Directors, you will participate on projects from concept through to production and become familiar with the entire product development process. Essential Responsibility:

Generate or support the wireframe and visual appealing UX design concepts based on the user needs. Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment. Communicate and present your ideas to the team members.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in User Experience Design, Interaction, or Visual Design.
• 0-2 years’ experience is a plus
• 3~5 days / week for at least 6 months is a MUST requirement for this position.
• Remarks: Applicant should submit his/her portfolio in PDF less than 10MB format along with CV.

Desired Characteristics:

• Demonstrated ability to create wireframe to present the UX design directions.
• Demonstrate creative problem-solving ability.
• Ability to create visual interface design concepts that clearly and effectively express product capabilities and behaviors.
• Ability to visualize the UX concepts in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, etc.
• Knowledge of animation and presentation techniques is a plus
