The Global Digital Corporate Communications Team is part of the broader Global External Corporate Communications Team within GCA.

As the Global Digital Corporate Communications Manager based in Cambridge, UK, you will contribute to several aspects of our external communications including channel strategy, community management and editorial planning. You will also have the opportunity to use your web and social media management skills to adopt new technologies and platforms as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the community management of social media channels through daily monitoring and triage

  • Work with internal stakeholders to address and action online inquiries and community management issues

  • Support the management of the editorial planning process across social media channels

  • Contribute to the production of engaging and impactful content across multiple digital channels

  • Disseminate analytics reporting to measure campaign outcomes and build future strategy

  • Coach colleagues across therapy areas, science units and other functional areas to plan, execute and measure content

  • Ensure consistency and accuracy for external digital assets

  • Adhere to and reinforce compliance regulations for corporate and employee social media activity

Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

  • Experience developing and managing content across multiple digital channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook)

  • Experience using enabling technologies and platforms (ex. Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Sociable, etc.) to execute digital strategies

  • Project management skills, including ability to balance multiple competing priorities

  • Excellent written English skills including strong copywriting and editing abilities

  • Collaborative working style to build strong relationships

  • Ability to translate digital analytics into actionable business insights

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, practices and platforms

  • Experience working in organisational change and crisis management

  • Ability to travel occasionally (domestically and abroad)

Desirable:

  • Digital marketing expertise, including SEO and social media paid promotion

  • Experience working within a CMS, AEM preferred

  • Understanding of working in a highly regulated industry
