In this exciting role you will report to the Director of ThinkPad Solution
Development, Commercial Note Book, Solutions & NECPC Development Center. You
will be part of a team working on Lenovo's next generation PC's.

As a Smart PC Engineer, you will lead and drive Smart PC development driving
enhancement of the (UX) user experience of our laptops.  You will
establish the disruptive new x86 structure for next generation Lenovo laptops.

You will also research and develop algorithms for automatic speech recognition
(ASR), voice pre-processing, speaker identification (Speaker ID), context
awareness. Working to improve the quality of voice for both VoIP and ASR. You
will work on
porting of applicable algorithms to embedded systems, including CPU, DSP,
hardware accelerator, or GPU with small footprints and power efficient way.

Position Requirements:
Here's what we need:
. Overall knowledge of PC architecture and processing units such as CPU, GPU,
DSP, ASIC, AI accelerators

Some skill and knowledge of :
\- Overall electrical design
\- Power efficient software design
\- Wireless network basis
\- Windows OS architecture basis
\- Cloud services, AI, deep learning, NN
\- Voice pre-processing and speech recognition.
\- C/C#, Python, Verilog
\- English communication skill in both written and oral

Global Future Leader REQUIREMENTS:
\- Bachelor or Masters Students graduating between May 2019 - May 2020 that
are completing a degree in Technology or Business Management disciplines
\- GPA: 3.3 minimum
\- Willingness to work from Raleigh/Durham-NC, Chicago-IL, Beijing-China; or
countries in European and Asia Pacific Regions.
\- Program Start Date: July 2020, can be flexible based on graduation date

innovation
