Serving as a member of the extended leadership team within our Global Human Resources (HR) Centre, the HR
Security Lead will be accountable for the day‐to‐day management of a team of HR security analyst, responsible for managing security access and SOX control for various HR applications specifically workday.
In this role, you will report directly to the Global HR Centre Lead, while also maintaining close collaboration with the global security process owner and HR stakeholders. The Team Lead will serve as a key point of contact for consultation and interaction between HR security, Global Process Owners (GPOs) and HRIT to ensure access requests are processed effectively, following right approval matrix and as per SOX guidelines.
The Lead will be expected to manage the team of HR Security Analysts to meet any established
SLAs within the HR function and support the team’s continuous personal and professional development.
HR Security lead should have strong experience in Workday Security and good functional understanding of various cross functional HCM modules like reporting.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Passion to create a team that will deliver a great customer experience. Manage a team to provide support to our global HR teams relating to Human Resources core and enabling technology solutions specifically around Workday, SABA and Fieldglass reporting. This support will be available to our HR teams through a variety of channels –telephony, email, chat and ServiceNow requests. Recruit, manage and develop a team of 1st line HR Security Analysts who have the skills and personality to gain and build the trust of HR professionals from around the globe Develop sustainable data driven solutions with Workday and other ERP systems to meet the needs of our organization and business Customers Provide audit observations and business recommendations, conduct SOX audits to ensure users have right level of access within the system. Ability to grasp new technologies rapidly as needed to progress varied initiatives and coach the team on same. Helps drive cross team design / development via technical leadership / mentoring Provide consultative support to both HR organization as well end user. Develop and maintain user procedures, guidelines and documentation; assist in training new system users as needed. Assist in performing reporting system upgrades, enhancements and testing. Identify and resolve security issues. Continually research, test and stays up-to-date on all system updates and fixes provided by vendor. Provide input into periodic reporting that effectively monitors performance against agreed objectives and SLAs mitigate external issues as they arise. Ensures that our internal customers issues and requests are addressed within documented SLA Experience in understanding and translating the priorities of the business and integrating the HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business. Serve as a key point of contact between the HR function and IT function when needed to support further functional requirements definitions, and support change management of roll‐outs, testing, etc., and defining the level of effort required and managing the delivery by the HR Security team. Manage all the relevant SOX controls effectively.
SPECIFIC SKILLS NEEDED
Significant HR system and security expertise, ideally in Workday functional understanding and specifically around workday reporting and security. In-depth understanding of security models and approaches to implementing security architecture within Workday Ability to communicate fluently in English Knowledge of SOX regulation as it relates to security and data privacy Intermediate knowledge of Workday report writing Proven ability to manage a team supporting a global business from one site covering varied operational hours and interacting with workers in many countries and with multiple cultures Practical experience liaising with HR Teams and Global Process Owners in order to provide HR advice and support HR system functionality Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks virtually within a matrixed team environment Experience working in a customer service environment and delivering against Service Level agreements Highly developed communications, presentation, organisation and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work with confidential data and instil data security and control values in the team Ability to think analytically and effectively problem solve using creative solutions Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in a related field such as Information Systems, HR, Business or equivalent education and experience. Must be strong in Microsoft office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. Recent experience working with 1 or more of the following Workday modules:

Conceptual Understanding in any of the following Workday technologies:
- Web Service APIs
- Studio
- EIB
- Cloud Connect
- Business Process Framework
- Configurable Security Overall 6-8 years of experience
