As a Global Head of Industrial Engineering you will be responsible for all aspects of Global Industrial Engineering team in means of guidelines and standards following the DFX principles to ensure perfect hardware quality by specification and design., in Process Automation Business Area in Hangzhou, ensuring proper quality in production and shipment to customers.

Reporting to the Head of Product Support, you will oversee checklists and audit guidelines for supplier qualification/audits and support those in means of execution by Supplier Quality Engineer (SQEs) and evaluation if needed.

Your responsibilities

• Designing guideline and standards (DFX criteria) which includes Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Testability (DFT), and Design for Volume (DFV)
• Standardizing supplier guidelines,
• Testing equipment at production, testing applied for (ICT, FET, HiPot…) following product specifications
• Testing strategy, testing plan, testing procedures in close collaboration with Technology, P+L, P+F. PTR comes from R&D
• Securing ability to produce, maintenance and life cycle management
• Investing for new/updated products, budgeting for production and test equipment
• Closing collaboration with SQE (assessments) and Lean Six Sigma as leading principle

Your background

• 5 years of experience in senior management with expertise in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) or introduction of new products in mass production or similar
• Sound knowledge in hardware design and production
• A master’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or similar
• Very good organizational, social skill and communication skills
• Fluency in English both oral and written
• Team player with strong leadership, strong quality mindset – strive for perfection
• Must be open and have global mindset
