Your new role – challenging and future-oriented You will assume global responsibility for project execution in the "Mainline" business unit (long-distance rail infrastructure). You will lead 9 project and group managers directly and your organization comprises approx. 70 employees in total. You will ensure that our projects are completed on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards. Therefore, you continuously monitor the project progress and initiate countermeasures in case of deviations from the plan. In this way, you actively manage the product portfolio, identify risks at an early stage and ensure that they are avoided. Closely cooperating with our international subsidiaries, you will manage highly complex projects and programs, including country roll-outs. You will continuously optimize the execution processes and drive state-of-the-art project management tools (e.g. BIM) and methods (e.g. Agile). In addition, you will promote claim and change management. Your qualifications – solid and appropriate You have a university degree (Master / Diploma) in a technical field. In addition, you convince with many years of professional experience in the railroad industry. You have extensive experience in project management or related functions (e.g. R&D or systems management). Furthermore, you are characterized by a strategic mindset as well as several years of leadership experience and have already managed larger teams (50+ employees). You have an excellent command of the English language and are willing to travel (approx. 30%). You can also imagine working mobile from home or another location on a daily basis.
