About The Role:
RWS are seeking to recruit a CCIE Network & Security Architect to join their team. This is a newly created role, required to design, implement, and improve the network and security infrastructure across the company.
This is a very collaborative role that will work closely with the Infrastructure, IT, DevOps, application and multiple business systems stakeholders, to understand the current business requirements as well as predict future business needs and design the global network infrastructure and solutions in line with this.
The role will involve predominantly project based works with very little BAU support. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision and will be reporting directly to the Global IT Head of Networks.
Skills and Experience needed:
- Must hold current Cisco CCIE (network and/or security) or be able to provide equivalent demonstrable experience
- Must have experience of working on large scale global network transformation projects.
- Must have strong network security background and be able to put ‘security first’ always.
- Must be able to understand and capture business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Must be able to conduct network architecture feasibility, design, implementation and/or modify network components where necessary.
- Must develop and evaluate network performance criteria and measurement methods.

- DIA/MPLS/VRF/BGP/OSPF

- Overlay Technologies
- SDWAN/Multi/Hybrid-Cloud/VXLAN/CASB/ZTA/SDP/VNF
- Cloud/SaaS
- AWS/Azure/Private
- VPC/VNET/CASB
- Experience of Pulse/Juniper VPN appliances
- Experience of IDS/IPS/SiEM
- Switching (VLAN, catalyst 2k/3k, stackwise, Etherchannel, QoS)
- Experience of having working in a project environment and acted as project resource offering direction, expertise on networking and security principle
Soft Skills:
- Documentation (Visio, whitepapers, reporting, updating info, presentation, knowledge share)
- Experience of stakeholder engagement and management at various levels and across cultures (internal/external customers, TAC, supplier)
- Character (approachable, flexible, self-starter, engaging, out of the box thinker)
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Strong Team player with flexible mind-set and can do' attitude
