Global Innovation Director - Pet Specialty Retail

What would be your responsibilities?

-    Design a highly performing & distinct Royal Canin Portfolio Ready-to-Go to Pet Specialty Retail, covering the most relevant health needs for healthy pets.
> Ensure the right PORTFOLIO REACH/ PERFECT PRODUCT
-    Interpret business/ category analysis to create a clear vision and innovation strategy within the organization determining innovative solutions supporting strategy implementation. 
-    Generate powerful pets/ pet owner insights and opportunities that drive key health outcomes, brand penetration and distinctiveness
-    Design, explore, analyze and recommend future Health territories and disruptive concepts in collaboration with R&D, CMI, internal and external stakeholders (Urban life, aging pets, chrononutrition, preventative care …)
-    Be a great line manager that recruits, engages, develops and maximizes the performance of the team and promotes new talents
-    Be the custodian and co-pilot of the RC Healthy Pet Portfolio within the R&D

What are we looking for?

-    Strong Innovation and marketing experience (10 years +) 
-    Expertise on strategic marketing with international scope
-    Successfully developing associates
-    Deep knowledge of the petcare category and/or health category 
-    Fluent in English
-    Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.  Must be able to influence and motivate at all levels within the business in order to achieve objectives.
-    Must be proactive, high energy, detailed-oriented when appropriate, results-oriented and willing to initiate and nurture change.
-    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
-    Comprehensive understanding of OGSM, Value Creation Model strategy and Enabling Behaviours
-    Well-developed organization skills to manage multiple projects and priorities, as well as multiple stakeholders.
-    Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
-    Strong analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, obtain mutual agreement as to the resolution and implement change.
-    Must have a high degree of self-direction with the ability to constantly seek innovative ways to perform tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
-    Good judgement for business opportunities and innovation concepts
