About GCE-CLIC

Commercial Learning Innovation Centre (CLIC) accelerates performance through learning. CLIC is the learning, innovation and operations arm of Global Commercial Excellence (GCE). The combined aim is to create a global learning community supported by excellent learning design, learning experiences, learning measurement/insights and learning technology that supports the capability growth of the modern learner to improve business performance. The Learning Design and Transformation Associate Director plays an important role in bringing the GCE-CLIC ambition to life.

About the Learning Associate Director

This role reports directly into the Global Learning Operations Director and is responsible for the US and Global learning design, learning technology and learning community for the commercial BBU business. This individual will be a member of the Global Learning Operations Leadership Team to establish strategy and ways of working that drive commercial learning transformation in this area of specialty. This role will partner with US and Global stakeholders, partners and preferred vendors to ensure embedment of research-based learning design and innovative technology to foster world-class learning experiences that transform learning and accelerate performance. Key to this role is the ability to work collaboratively and be a trusted partner with US and Global business stakeholders; ability to establish new ways of working, communicate, engage and align stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization; and be proactive and agile with a strategic, enterprise and growth mindset.

Specifically, this person will:

  • Lead Global and US learning design and technology strategy to address the needs of the modern learner
  • Be the business point of contact for learning technology vendors/partners
  • Create learning design standards for US & Global learning experiences and partner with the Learning Operations manager to implement across CLIC and GCE
  • Collaborate with HR Learning Transformation team to align/integrate sales enablement platform into the enterprise learning technology ecosystem and ensure optimal learner experience
  • Partner with Learning Experience Specialists (LESs) and execution team to implement learning technology plans across US and Global teams, increase utilization of the core functionality and enhance ways of working for simplification and efficiency
  • In partnership with peers in Learning Operations and CLIC/GCE Stakeholders, lead the evolution of the global learning community to align on learning design, learning experience sharing, learning measurement and learning technology, creating one identity and shared purpose across the globe
  • Collect and share best practices
  • Evaluate needs of business and learning community and continuously enhance offerings
  • Upskill CLIC Engagement Leads, CLIC/GCE stakeholders and Ops team on Learning Design and Learning Research best practices

Essential for the role

  • Experience/Education
    • Bachelor’s Degree in science, learning, business, communications or related field
    • Minimum 2 years in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare
    • 7+ years total relevant experience
