Global Learning System Analyst (f/m/n)

The Global Learning System Analyst is a role being part of Learning Operations and System Administration team – part of Mars Global Services Learning. The System Administration team provides comprehensive Learning Management systems and process expertise as well as administrative support. The overall purpose of this role is to enable Mars Global Services Learning to leverage our Learning Management System (Workday) to the fullest so we can achieve Operational Excellence and seamless learning experience. As a team we support also internal customers by other learning platforms like EdCast, CorpU, CrossKnowledge.

 

What are we looking for? 

• 2 years of business experience in the functional HR domain, e. g. HR process, capability and information or equivalent business experience
• Experience working with systems – ability to troubleshoot
• Experience in Customer Service Roles
• Experience/previous exposure to a Learning Management Systems is a plus
• Fluent in English (daily communication in English)

 

What would be your key responsibilities? 

• Administration of global and regional curriculum as per assigned college scope of support. Ensuring consistency of LMS use by providing templates and sharing best practice
• Support course owner in creating learning activities for in LMS
• Responsible to reflect changes in scope in the system and consult client on most efficient way to do so
• Responsible for managing attendance and any follow up actions to maintain the right number of participants (waiting list, cancellations, attendance completion confirmation, learning requests)
• Providing operational excellence to respective clients by ensuring a thorough analysis of the client requirements and designing adapted solutions which have been thoroughly tested taking all system and reporting aspects into consideration before presenting to the client.
• Cooperation with System Administration Specialists and Experts as necessary
• Independent managing, planning, and prioritizing of incoming requests and other job responsibilities in line with the agreed service level agreement
• Responsible for training and coaching relative stakeholders (incl. instructors) and associates where necessary
• Responsible for ensuring the learning data in scope is accurate and updated (regular audits of owned content) – proactively reach out to college contacts for updates
• Understanding full functionality of the learning management system, active participation in system testing and raising enhancements to the functional specialist
• Proactively flag any improvement needs (process, documentation, system, wow etc.) to Line Manager and/or customer and propose potential solutions
• Co-development of administration services and related business process (value for stakeholders & customers; process workflow & standards/ documentation/ templates)
• Involvement in or owning continuous improvement projects for the team’s internal processes and ways of working
