The unit is part of the Global Learning and Growth organization (GLG). The architects at LSA make learning smarter: the interactions at the Learning & Growth Ecosystem will be(come) smooth and meaningful, which contributes to the vision of GLG: Make Siemens your place to thrive. As a Learning and Skill Architect, you (co-)manage, in a cross-GLG set-up, one or more building blocks of the Learning and Skill Architecture (LSA). These building blocks vary from skill-based learning (“My Skills”) to user-driven/top-down driven architecture of learning content. From content-based learning to recognition elements like badges. From the management of external e-Learning Platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Coursera) to the learning solutions approach of GLG. From the orchestration of company strategic learning priorities to data analytics of architecture-relevant data. Last but not least, the innovation building block aims to ensure the Learning and Growth Ecosystem is “fed” with innovations in the field of Learning and Development. What part will you play? For the assigned LSA building block(s), you will: Define a strategy to reach the goal of the respective building block(s) Define a (year-) planning with SMART targets “Own” the topic – be aware of the developments inside and outside of Siemens (trend-scouting) – steer the strategy if needs to be accordingly Analyze the relevant data, and create dashboards if needed to be Manage in a project setting the development of the respective building block(s) Create use cases and implement them accordingly Monitor and manage the “normal operations” activities as defined in the use cases (if applicable) Be a subject matter expert on the assigned building block topics, facilitate & consult the relevant GLG colleagues accordingly. What you need to make real what matters.
