The Global Logistics Helpdesk Specialist will primarily be responsible for supporting our Total Transportation Management (TTM) service offering which will include but is not limited to, client enquiries (internal and external), quote requests, transportation design and proposals for single or multiple destinations (domestic or international) and import or export solutions. Negotiating individual courier pricing and submission of spot quotes.

In addition, you will be required to support the team as necessary to create distribution orders in our GPM system, review and approve import/export documentation for approval (green light) and proactively track orders.

You will have a high degree of domestic and international transportation knowledge to provide proposals or solutions to client enquiries.

The role requires competent use of Fisher Clinical Services systems and SOPs and will be required to perform to Fisher Clinical Services Quality Standards and timelines.

• Compliance with internal local and global standard operating procedures.
• On time completion of internal training assignments
• Obtain and negotiate freight rates along with transit times from TTM approved suppliers for distribution of domestic and international projects
• Work with approved suppliers to request, review and approve transportation quotes for individual domestic and international orders
• Collaborate with internal and external clients to propose, review and win transportation business
• Schedule and execute distribution orders with approved suppliers
• Proactively track and trace orders to ensure on time delivery within FCS service level agreement with suppliers as assigned
• Provide support as assigned for internal/external client calls or emails received and manage to resolution

• Actively participate in team meetings, conference calls, and daily operational meetings as necessary
• Participate in cross-functional business process improvement activities as required.
