The Global Marketing Program Manager (GMPM) develops and owns the campaign strategy to promote Agilent's companion diagnostic (CDx) professional services to pharma and industry for the CDx Division of the Diagnostics and Genomics Group (DGG). The position's objective is to generate awareness and demand through innovative marketing strategies that grow business and capture market share for the CDx business. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketer of highly technical and clinical products and demonstrates strength in product launches and commercialization. Moreover, you develop the business case to select the appropriate program tactics and report the success of your programs. This role reports to the Director of Cancer Genomics Marketing Programs

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute marketing programs with responsibility for the strategy and implementation of marketing programs and activities for CDx professional services targeted at pharma precision medicine programs.
  • Closely align, coordinate and collaborate with the CDx business development and alliance management team to build a marketing program and campaigns that empower engagement with new and current pharma partners
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of key customer (partner) personas and markets (pharma/diagnostics/industry) via market research and analysis
  • Develop positioning and messaging platforms targeting CDx professional services customer and market segments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups including global and field marketing, sales, business development, strategy, and development teams to translate customer needs and solutions to marketing plans, collateral, power point presentations, advertisements, promotions and commercialization plans
  • Collaborating with field and channel partners to analyze related competitive information, market and customer data
  • Coordinate with other Agilent DGG divisions and functions to align the clinical strategy and brand as well as support the synergistic overall DGG marketing message and strategy
  • Provide coordination and planning for major strategic events and engage with customers at events
  • Coordinate with external agencies for Marcom and market research support
  • Manage CDx professional services marketing program budget
  • Report and monitor campaign performances, suggest and implement improvements in order to optimize campaign ROI, and maximize business impact
