Global Marketing Senior Manager, Oncology

In this vital role Marketing Senior Manager in Global Oncology is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high unmet need area within the lung oncology space. The Senior Marketing Manager will report to the Global Marketing Director and will be a key contributor to the global launch of an innovative immuno-oncology medicine. This includes support for key marketing initiatives such as brand building, campaign and messaging, and overall launch planning to drive launch excellence for the first indication and beyond. The person will also lead development of the Global Brand Plan and Budget, working with both key cross-functional partners and regional marketing leads to integrate market insights and co-create strategy
- Developing the disease state education program, including the global DSE campaign, message platform, and DSE guidance to support regional implementation
- Leadership of select workstreams related to campaign and message platform development as well as launch planning
- Leading development of strategic communication documents, such as the global brand plan
- Supporting business case assessments through insight generation based on patient journeys, market landscape, competitive intelligence, etc.
- Budget leadership and collaboration with Finance team, including annual budget and budget management
- Collaborating with cross-functional team to ensure workstreams meet stated objectives and timelines
- Supervising and collaborating with agency partners to implement scope and budget

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Or
Master’s degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Or
Associate’s Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Or
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oncology therapeutic area experience (marketing and/or scientific) with recognized depth in industry, technical and driven dynamics that craft future oncology markets and needs
- Ability to use market insights in marketing campaigns and initiatives, preferably in the field of oncology and with a global scope
- Strong interpersonal skills, business judgment and emotional intelligence with demonstrated ability to influence effectively within a matrix structure
- Work with cross-functional partners to develop impactful program strategies that are based on market insights
- Strong competitive and agility approach, including the ability to champion ideas, make decisions, and focus on results while adapting to evolving market assumptions
- Ability to work independently and take personal accountability for project work when vital
- Strong listening skills and communication skills with highly effective written, verbal, and influencing skills across internal and external partners at all levels
