Global Performance Marketing Manager for Siemens Digital Industries
Siemens is recruiting a Global Performance Marketing Manager to support our Digital Industries business. This is a UK-based role working as part of our expert headquarters team based in Germany. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Siemens Global Digital Industries communications team driving, developing and delivering our social media strategy, community management and performance marketing activities, supporting the key business objectives of Siemens Digital Industries across the globe.

The role will be based in the UK, we are flexible on location. Currently home working with a requirement for travel occasionally, for example to our offices in Germany.
What are your responsibilities?
As part of our international, multi-cultural, interdisciplinary communications team, where we create value for all our stakeholders (employees, customers, shareholders, etc.). In this role...:
- You will actively promote digital transformation in communications with a focus on improving and maintaining a positive user experience, target group segmentation, user engagement and content performance in social media advertising, digital / programmatic advertising, and organic search engine ranking (SEO and search engine advertising are a plus).
- You will be responsible for growing and nurturing a strong social media marketing community within our business, being the “point of contact”, creating an inclusive environment that fosters collaboration and ensures related processes run smoothly.
- You will measure the effectiveness of our communications by defining and monitoring KPIs, including analysis and interpretation of data. Based on that you will decide on actions to improve our global performance marketing.
- You will advise on English language targeting and posting from our global corporate and key internal influencer accounts.
- You will act as a trusted adviser and consultant to Siemens board members and other key influencers within Siemens Digital Industries on their social media and give feedback as required.
What do you need to qualify for this role?
- You have a degree level qualification in the fields of Communication or Journalism/Media. Marketing or Digital Marketing are highly preferred.
- You are expert in the field of community management, content marketing, influencer marketing, digital strategy, campaigns and analysis.
- As well as being an expert in your field you are used to working in international, interdisciplinary, agile project teams and feel comfortable with taking ownership of a community or project.
- You have worked with the following topics in-depth: analytics and tracking, asset and web content management (AEM, CMS), user-generated content and performance-based campaign management.
- You are expert in social media targeting and listening and are familiar with the use of key tools including native analytics suites etc.
- You have a proactive, inclusive attitude coupled with strong interpersonal and intercultural skills, allowing you to build a strong network across all functions, divisions, geographies and hierarchies.
- You are experienced in building and managing communities (especially online) and understand the critical role of a community lead focused on empowerment and nurturing rather than “command and control”
- You are a great creative writer in English for social media; you are able to think innovatively and strategically and have an understanding of and passion for data and analytics.
- Your values are aligned with doing the right thing with a strong sense of personal integrity, as well as a personal commitment to carbon reduction.
