We’re looking for a technology centric Backend Product Manager to drive efficiencies in implementation of D2C Backend technology for our global PetCare teams. These backend technologies will be housed as a reusable, scalable platform and is related to a D2C ERP which is Dynamics 365, OMS which currently is assumed to be D365 but could scale later into another solution, Payment systems, Multi carrier platforms, Integrations with the commerce shop and with other allied systems in Supply Chain. This role will be responsible to conceptualize, design, develop and operate the D2C Backend platform and provide as a service to any conceivable D2C shop proposition globally.

 

What are we looking for?

• You’ll have previously designed and executed a backend D2C tech strategy, ideally within a large-scale global business, whilst working closely alongside key partnerships within IT and Digital
• You’ll be an influencer, ready and able to drive significant cultural and thought change, supporting the adoption of new and innovative technologies
• You’ll be an expert in and have full understanding of D2C tech-stacks and a deep understanding of backend capabilities (including commerce, martech, analytics, D365 and WMS)
• You’ll also have a fair understanding of frontend products and the relationship between frontend and your work
• You’ll be customer focused, always having the customer and end consumer in mind when making critical decisions

 

What would be your key responsibilities?

• You’ll be the point-person responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining the D2C backend technology systems
• You’ll be an agile leader, ready to adapt our strategy for the medium-long term
• You’ll lead partnerships with internal functions including Supply Chain, Finance and Legal, and external partners such as technology providers
• You’ll lead overall agile product-based technology implementation as well as define, design and operation a product-based model and lifecycle for end-end delivery of the tech stack on the backend
