Global Petcare D2C Head of Product

We are looking for a Head of Product who will lead the definition, implementation and development of the end-to-end D2C Products. It requires a strong understanding of the key Front-End and Back-End Technologies, but also the capacity to own the end-to-end solution on areas such Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Care, Legal, Commercial, etc.
What are we looking for?
- You;ll have an open mindset and curiosity, as well as the capacity to become the leading force around which the specialists in the Functions are going to build.
- You'll have devised and executed D2C platform strategy, preferably for a CPG from the business side of the organisation while working closely with the IT teams.
- Exposure to broader contexts, involving also other areas of the business than Tech such as Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Legal, Customer Care.
- Experience in driving cultural change to support the adoption and resulting business benefits
- Must have a general understanding of the full D2C tech stack (commerce, martech, analytics) and a good understanding of frontend capabilities such as shopify, advanced commerce products such as commercetools/salesforce commerce cloud as well as all related eco system products such as payments, reviews, fraud, address, personalization, integration options, analytics.
- Experience having run teams in a Product based methodology
- Clear understanding of ways to leverage the portfolio of tools to deliver the D2C product best suited for agility and rapid business growth.
- Should have reasonable awareness of backend end commerce products such as D365, Supply chain, Finance, Warehouse systems
- Startup experience a plus
What would be your key responsibilities?
- You’ll be the point-person responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining the D2C frontend technology systems
- Own and communicate the Program vision to ensure quality, consistency and effectiveness of the Products
- Work with D2C Business teams in the brands to define and scope down the Value Propositions
- Ensure the creation and completeness of the user stories required to brief the Functions (Tech, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Care, Legal, Commercial etc.)
- Owns the Product backlog, refines it, prioritizes it and escalate when required
- Accountable to bring in efficiency, reuse, pluggability and scale via the solutions being implemented and their underlying design and interaction in the eco system
- Lead overall Agile Product based technical teams responsible for assessing, designing, implementing and supporting the existing and new components of the solutions
- Partner with the broader Mars teams such as Enterprise Architecture, Security, Commercial to ensure proper alignment and approvals for end to end platform and adherence to standards
- Work with third party vendors to ensure successful integration with their systems
