- Identify product gaps for assembly technology. Develop appropriate Business Cases for NPD and present to Director of Marketing for review and submission to Steering team.
- Creation and Maintenance of an evergreen Technology Roadmap. Work with SAT (Strategic Accounts Team) to conduct TRMs at key customers. Disseminate learnings to R&D and Applications teams to determine impact on existing or new projects.
- Creation and execution of product line plans to support portfolio growth targets. This will include TRMs, Impact of Key Product Launches, Identification of project to drive improved margin, areas of potential Non-NPD share gain, identification of potential adjacent markets and supporting financial analysis to make go/no go decisions, outline of MarCom needs for the portfolio including advertising, special promotions, social media, and adjustments to website.
- Creation, Maintenance and Dissemination of Product Positioning for the portfolio the global sales, CTS, and strategic account teams.
- Assessment of competitive offerings and determination of appropriate response.
- Engagement with Regions and Strategic Account team on key pricing decisions.
- Creation and execution of promotion of product portfolio and solutions. Drive cross selling and cross promotion of products with goal of increasing # of products purchased by customers
- Development of total cost of ownership models to demonstrate effectiveness of Alpha solution and drive pricing discussion with sales/customers.
- Integration of service offerings as mechanism to drive revenue and margin growth
- Drive GATE (Global Applications Team) Activities and prioritization.
- Engagement with Manufacturing/GPEG as needed to support the initiatives outlined in the product line plan.
- Work with RMMs and utilize the CRM to determine the opportunities that represent the highest impact to the region and what marketing support is needed to close these opportunities.
- Work with other MPS businesses to determine how best to leverage technologies from more than one business to create value for customers.
- Development and dissemination of tools, reports and collateral to help commercial teams in their selling efforts.
- Manage pipeline of R&D service requests related to the portfolio.
- Provide support and guidance to Product Specialists as needed.
- Commercial champion for NPD projects that support portfolio and assist NPD Project teams to overcome obstacles as needed.
- Provide regular communication for both internal and external customers regarding key portfolio developments (i.e. case studies, success stories, technical advancements, etc).

Bachelor’s Degree (BS) from four-year college or university in a technical/engineering discipline plus four to six years industrial experience and/or training. MBA desirable but not essential.

Ability to write and present papers using original or innovative techniques or style.
Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups and/or board of directors.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of chemistry or material science.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
