Global Process Lead for Bill of Material

The role
You will be part of a distributed team, collaborating with global & regional partners, and data networks in crafting and delivering the supply chain master data strategies.
Developing and embedding standards and processes, and driving ongoing data governance, for the Bill of Material master data and connected process communities.
Responsibilities:
Collect and map as-is site / regional Bill of Material processes, finding opportunities for standardisation & improvement
Design & implement globally standardised Bill of Material processes to drive high quality data & process performance
Supply & validate in the design of coordinated and standardised Bill of Material system configurations
Drives and advocates the need for process harmonization and use of global standards, supporting partners in adapting to new standardized processes
Lead the definition of process metrics to enable governance and drive performance at a global and regional level
Lead & contribute to the definition & implementation of data standards
Lead the development & implementation of data quality metrics, to drive high quality data, in partnership with the Data Quality Management Team
Define the framework for issue management and issue resolution for Bill of Material
Identify and implement process networks to govern global standards
Lead role in mentoring and developing technical skills and delivering training to the process champion and super user networks
Leads process confirmation activities (going to Gemba)
Leads continuous improvement activities
Supports the Global Governance Lead in crafting Bill of Material integration into broader Data Governance frameworks and operating models
Maintain strong links & relationships across AZ with related central functions/regions/MCs and initiatives in the company which supply to the delivery of the Bill of Material processes.
Develop external network via cross industry forums to ensure benchmarking of approach and access to external standard methodology
Essential Skills:
Strong domain expertise and demonstrable experience within data governance
Experience of designing and operating Data Governance processes for a global enterprise with significant geographical and functional footprint.
Experience of Business/IT partnering for the implementation of Data Governance-related solutions.
Proven ability to lead in a diverse, global team, within and across functions. Experience with global working and across cultures.
Demonstrate good communication skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives
Ability to lead and handle negotiations across a sophisticated group, to a target outcome.
Proven change management, interpersonal, assertiveness and negotiation skills.
Fluent in English (written and verbally)
Experience of working within a Supply Chain function
A demonstrable understanding of SAP
Desirable Skills:
Experience of business transformation driven by process improvement
Experience in data ownership or stewardship
Demonstrated project leadership skills.
Understanding of AZ Operations
Good understanding of current AZ supply chain data processes and systems
Experience of working with lean methodologies and approaches
Ideal candidates will have specific pharma industry and Bill of Materials process experience
