Essential Job Functions • Participates in semi-complex buying strategies to purchase and arrange timely deliveries of supplies and materials; expedites as needed and serves as liaison between vendors and users, getting prior approval for purchases in excess of established limits • Performs important areas of standard professional level work that typically requires processing and interpreting, more complex, less clearly defined issues. • Provides general guidance or train support and/or professional staff. • Primarily intra-organizational contacts and external contacts • Refers semi-complex, unusual problems to others • Identifies and resolves problems • Complies with company objectives (metrics): 5 S’s, Accidents, scrap, daily production, Sequence, PPM’s • Participates in programs like 5s, Kaizen, 3i y Top+ • Continuous improvement teamwork. (Actively participates) • Reports defects/discrepancy at the moment of performing the position • Complies with assigned training for the development of needed abilities to perform the position • Complies with company interior regulation, as well as interior security and hygiene regulation • To respect security rules and environmental rules. • Responsible of proper handling of materials and working tools • Works in group with teammates for the achievement of materials goals Summary of Requirements (Qualifications, Experience, Skills) • Bachelor’s degree • 5+ years of experience in this position • SAP System (preferred) • English level (Advanced) Organization: Smart Infrastructure Company: Siemens Industry, Inc.
