As a GPS Resourcing Project Manager, you will be responsible for the team of 2 individuals who will have to together with you drive projects related to PEOPLE – the most important resources in Operational Global Procurement Services (OGPS). Additionally, you will manage constantly growing Agile Support Team (5-10) which is our talent pool that support all other teams in delivering projects.
You will have to present strong communication skills as will operate with senior stakeholders. There will be a strong expectation that the job holder will act as an ambassador of OGPS, confident and capable of talking about any element of OGPS & procurement service catalogue.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Sets the strategy for how OGPS attracts and retain talent by partnering closely with HR Teams
- Owns the process for onboarding new starters, partner closely with HR, Strategy & Operational Excellence Team & Admin Teams in 3 Sites
- Plan & coordinate Learning & Development global & local initiatives for OGPS
- Owns for OGPS and support Strategy & Operational Excellence Team in the knowledge management process & system
- Manage Agile Support Team talent pool to ensure right capacity allocation and individuals’ development
- Agree project plans including activities, resources, costs, roles, responsibilities and quality assurance and accountable for the delivery of projects/programmes on time and on budget
- Manages relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are effectively captured and committed to project objectives
- Manage and motivate project teams, plan work assignments and schedules and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Guide and monitor work performance
Essential Requirements
- University degree preferred.
- Experience of managing projects/programmes
- Experience in team capacity and knowledge management
- Proven ability to manage change
- Experience of working application of policies, procedures and guidelines
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Collaborative management style, responsive, considerate, flexible, assertive and personable
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Experience in designing, implementing and monitoring capacity of the team as well as presenting outcome and proposing recommendations
- Excellent oral and written English (Polish is not a must) communication skills to provide clear messages to all levels within AstraZeneca.
- Desire to work as part of a strong team.
