As a Global Product Manager is in charge of driving the long-term profitable growth of Din Rail and Enclosure Products within the Electrification Business Area in Beijing, China.
Reporting to the Global Product Management Manager, you will develop and manage Din Rail and Enclosure Products through all phases of the life cycle according to market needs and the strategy and targets for the product group.
Your responsibilities
- Heading up studies of market intelligence, defining market segmentation and identifying potential gaps in the portfolio
- Developing a business plan for Din Rail and Enclosure Products, tracking performance metrics and implementing measures for maximum profitability
- Developing sales and tendering tools, and creating product training modules and programs
- Defining global pricing strategies and managing global frame agreements
- Initiating and driving cross-functional product and solution innovation teams, monitoring the development of all standards and market trends, and assisting R&D with patent-screening processes and IPR protection
- Defining the Din Rail and Enclosure Products customer value proposition for segments and channels, ensuring clear communication, and delivering clear positioning within the portfolio
- Driving the annual business planning process, and monitoring global sales targets and tender volumes
- Developing a strong global team, and inspiring and motivating employees to achieve targets
Your background
- 8 years of experience in Product Management, working as Product Manager with Low voltage products
- Sound knowledge of Din Rail and Enclosure and the Low Voltage market
- Management experience in sales, engineering and operational projects, ability to anticipate customer needs and market trends
- Strong, well-developed communication, influencing, coaching and management skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Fluency in Chinese and English both oral and written
- Current working permit valid in China
