Job Description

The Global Program Manager will be based in Shanghai Zhangjiang.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Create program plans including program milestones/timelines, program budget/expanse, program staff plan, P/L analysis, risk management to align with global program team.
• Lead the multi-cultural team to track and guarantee programs to run on schedule, on budget and on profitability.
• Conduct regular communication cross functions, regions to closely monitor program progress and risks internally.
• Organize and facilitate the communication with customers to report program timing, status, change management and urgent issues in case.
• Take the ownership of improving operation profit of programs by looking at every aspect of cost structure and push to implement the cost-reduction accordingly.
• Support business development team to acquire new program and help to analyze customer requirements as fully as possible.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronical Engineering.
• More than 8 years’ experiences in Automotive industry. Among it, at least 5 years’ experiences in Project Management in Automotive components.
• Be adaptable and able to function well in multi-cultural team environment.
• Be self-motivated and pro-active.
• Be result-oriented and capable to drive meeting, influence team to achieve agreement especially in tough circumstances.
• Must possess excellent verbal and oral foreign language skills (English MUST).
• Be excellent in Project Management software MS Project.
• Be familiar with office software MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point.

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Experience in automotive electronic components in tire1 suppliers will be preferred.
