Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a Global Project Lead – New Planning System Financial Implementation (Optimus Program) to join our team. This position can be based at the Beachwood, OH facility or US based remote home office. Position Overview: A key member of the GFSS Record to Report team, reporting directly to the Record to Report Director. Responsible for the Global Implementation of program Optimus, with objective is to roll out the new planning application (Oracle EPBCS) in three releases: Release 1: Pilot - Electrical Sector EMEA and Corporate Functions, currently in its final phase of implementation, scheduled to go live in Q4 Release 2: Rest of Electrical Sector, Industrial Sector and Current Tool Replacement, Go Live 2024 Release 3: Management Allocations, Long Term Strategic Planning, Master Data Management The role is responsible for the global implementation of the solution, ensuring it adheres to Company's global guiding principles, managing resources to meet project deadlines and deliverables. Responsible for managing business partner throughout lifecycle of the project and coordinating all functional design decisions. This position provides significant exposure to Eaton Senior Finance Leaders and it is a critical player in the finance technology transformation. Essential Functions: Provide functional insight and manage day to day operations of global implementation. Coordinate functional resources and regional leads for global implementation. Collaborates with other process owner and with IT Functional leads to evaluate solutions cross-functional impact, ensures integration and adherence to best practices Collaborates with PM on all related program deliverables, risks, issues, and escalations Lead global change management resources and activities; drives organizational alignment, promotes process and system adoption, and escalates risks Ensures proper knowledge transfer of system & processes to the regional business units Review and approve all deliverables per project plan deadlines Support execution of the communication and training plan Provide weekly status updates for key activities/deliverables, identifying risks and mitigation plans as appropriate When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum fifteen (15) years in Accounting, Finance, and/or Finance Systems roles Minimum five (5) years FP&A experience Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution Strong strategic thinking skills. Ability to build followership and empower the team. Must communicate across finance and IT functions with an approachable management style. Strong problem-solving skills. The ability to understand customer and business needs and drive the team to ensure the technology meets those needs. Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $149,600-205,700. Eligible for a performance-based incentive bonus with a target at 24% of base.
