Then this internship is for you.

This internship with Global Public Affairs and Sustainability team will give you the opportunity to deepen your Intel business acumen, sharpen your strategic thinking, hone your influencing skills, enrich your communication capabilities, and grow your network.

This will be a virtual internship during Intel’s COVID restrictions; expected to be on-site or at community events once Intel’s COVID restrictions are removed. A writing sample will be required as part of the interview process.

As a Global Public Affairs Communications Intern (GPAS) your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with colleagues across Intel and in the community to develop and implement communication strategies that help connect Intel's Corporate Responsibility commitment with the actions we're taking to make our community a more vibrant place for everyone.

  • Serve as a copywriter and editor in support of business group goals.

  • Develop at least one integrated communication plan for a high-profile initiative, including communications positioning, messaging, and tactics.

  • Deliver coordinated communications through a variety of channels and tactics including: articles, videos, presentations (creation and delivery), FAQ documents, events/event collateral, and web content.

  • Draft and review materials to ensure that they represent the best interests of the company and employees and are consistent with established company communications objectives and policies.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.  Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or Ph.D. degree, or a Bachelor’s degree with three years’ related  job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelor’s degree and less than three years’ experience. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in communications or journalism or marketing or public/press relations or related field.

Prefer Qualifications:

  • 3+ months of experience in business communications or public/press relations or marketing or related field.

  • 3+ months of experience related to Corporate Social Responsibility (school or volunteering experience).

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00 (Hourly Role)
