Job Description

• Experienced Buyer to manage spare parts repair suppliers in Europe.
• Responsible for day-to-day Suppliers operational management (open PO’s,OTD, cycle time, lead time, obsolete, etc)
• Leads supplier’s cycle time reduction activities in collaboration with planning, engineering, service business unit departments and more.
• Leads problem resolution for material shortage- Work with suppliers and internal interfaces, get to the root cause and provide corrective actions.
• Resolve related logistics, accounting and receiving issues
• Manages activities of the purchasing group. Manages projects for purchasing; as required, monitors the cost, schedule and scope of assigned projects:

• Will prepare project plan and coordinates the attainment of project deliverables from planning to implementation. Maintains matrix for process improvements
• Will drive project deliverables and task details by through use reports, tracking charts and checklists.
• Ensures that specific project and program objectives are defined for areas of responsibility, and that necessary preliminary activities (e.g., determination of outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning, among others) are completed to allow for effectiveness and focus during later stages of completion.

Requirements

• 2- 5 Years of Experience in Purchasing in the technology arena
• Project management experience with 2+ Years in the operations arena, preferably in a medium/ large Hi-Tech company
• Bachelor's Degree or higher education in relevant field
• Proven Experienced in leading complicated processes
• Service oriented, experienced with suppliers and internal customers, strong negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic & under pressure working environment
• Excellent English & Hebrew skills - read/write/talk
• Quick study
• Team player
