To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E As a Global SCM Category Manager you will be responsible to manage Global Professional Services commodity including supplier sourcing, contracting, contract management, and supplier performance management for designated indirect Professional Services sub-commodities. The sourcing spend responsibility is ~$150M The Professional Services commodities will include, but not limited to Human Resources; US, North America and Global in scope: Medical, Pharmacy, EAP, Global Mobility, including Audits, collection services, Tax services and Mortgage providers (relocation), Pension, Stock Plan services, Life/Accident & Death insurance, Contingent Workforce, Benefits Consultancy, Benefits Broker services, Outplacement Services and Employee Recognition. Marketing; US, North America and Global in scope: Trade shows, Analytics, Technical writing, Public Relations, Promotional Merchandise, Social media, Creative Agencies, Print and fulfillment etc.. Responsible to manage the development of commodity strategies in collaboration with regional SCM and key stakeholders which satisfy business requirements. Responsible to aggregate and leverage regional & global spend. Responsible to develop supplier contracts and supplier relationships that maximize value and minimize risk for Eaton. Responsible to manage the designated commodities utilizing the IPO strategic sourcing and supplier management process. Responsible to collaborate and communicate with SCM regional leaders, stakeholders, Legal and Finance on supplier solutions, contract management and supplier performance. Responsible to lead the negotiation and development of supplier contracts in compliance with Eaton’s policies and procedures that meet the company’s goals and objectives Your main responsibilities: Establish and build internal relationships with regional SCM leadership and Corporate stakeholders to clearly understand material and service requirements. Lead the supplier market analysis and ensure supplier qualifications for RFQ’s. Lead the development of RFQ’s and analysis for supplier selection. Lead and assist supplier negotiations for the business on requirements, commercial terms and conditions. Build performance based supplier relationships that lead to optimal pricing, quality improvements, process improvements and delivery of world class solutions. Communicate with SCM and Corporate on supplier value propositions and supplier performance metrics. Develop reporting metrics and alignment with functional areas to ensure the cost savings and cost mitigation related to sourcing and supplier management activities. Lead and manage the supplier and stakeholder expectations in conjunction with, regional and corporate goals. Develop thorough master services contracts in accordance with regulatory and legal department’s requirements. Lead and conduct supplier performance reviews using supplier scorecards with key stakeholders to develop continuous improvement initiatives and actions. Navigate challenging situations, win concessions without damaging relationships, and settle internal and external differences with a minimum of conflict, while being forceful, diplomatic and gaining trust and respect Qualifications Education / Experience Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or Business Management MBA in Business, Supply Chain or related area - preferred Professional supply chain related certification(s) preferred: ISM, APICS, etc. Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience; supply chain - preferred Corporate staff function experience - preferred Possess international business cultural awareness Preferred Knowledge and Training Possess deep knowledge of the various Professional Services/Human Resources and Marketing related categories. ARIBA Excellent SCM sourcing and supplier management process and deployment knowledge Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills necessary to influence a large and diverse group of stakeholders including senior management, engineers, operations, finance and supply chain management personnel. Strong negotiation skills, knowledge, and experience Expertise in negotiating/interpreting legal terms and conditions Desktop analytics (Excel and Powerpoint skills) Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks globally Demonstrated leadership capabilities required Presentation skills essential Incumbent must be: Ability and willingness to objectively tackle complex high-level operational challenges using a practical combination of traditional and innovative methods.
