Global Sales Coordinator, Business Travel (Home Based in the United States or Canada)
Reporting to the Vice President, Business Travel and Executive Director, Business Travel, this position will be responsible for the Business Travel segment and will provide support to the Accor North & Central America global sales team.

What you will be doing:
- Extend administrative support to Business Travel segment management, including budget coordination, senior leadership communication, reporting and special projects
- Provide administrative assistance, such as drafting communications/ memos on segment management’s behalf
- Organize meetings, including scheduling appointments, sending reminders, followup.
- Oversee administrative aspects of Accor’s SME Program, including client communication campaigns, enrollment and distribution support
- Assist in the development and roll-out of business development initiatives in the NCA region
- Promote Accor worldwide and work with any client inquiries directly or in collaboration with the relevant Account Manager
- Communicate with the global sales support network, account managers and hotels to ensure that all requests and tasks are followed up in a timely manner
- Communicate with direct supervisors to discuss problems, strategies, client concerns or any issues involving business travel sales
- Attend and participate in all required meetings with clients and sales team
- Create, maintain and update account files in accordance with agreed Accor and client standards during all sales phases (RFP, Negotiations, Loading and Rate Audits, Etc.)
- Process, manage and communicate all requests for rate proposals (RFP’s) to support teams and properties in North America, Central America and the Caribbean
- Utilize, process and record all actions concerning RFP, negotiation and loading within Salesforce application (ANAIS)
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by direct supervisors which may include a proactive business approach i.e.: Telesales or Business Development, (unmanaged account inquiries) SME Leads and TMC call set up
Your experience and skills include:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Attention to detail and timelines
- Experience in (global) business travel sales and/ or equivalent sales support experience preferred
- Knowledge of the business travel sales cycle is considered a key asset
- High competencies in the use of Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel – vlookup, pivot tables) is required
- Strong working knowledge of CVENT (formerly Lanyon) business travel contracting tool is required
- Knowledge of Salesforce is preferred
Your team and working environment:
- A Home based role in either the United States or Canada, this position is a part of the NCA Corporate Global Sales team.
- Required to travel periodically throughout year
