Global Sales Coordinator, Travel Industry Sales (US or Canada)
Based at the Toronto Regional Office or Home Office in US or Canada, this role is responsible for Travel Industry Sales segment and Accor North & Central America global sales team support, with primary focus on Global, US-based consortia and North American travel management companies.

What you will be doing:
- Promote Accor hotels worldwide and assist with any client inquiries in coordination and support of Executive Director, Sales Directors or Sales Managers.
- Collaborate and communicate with internal and external clients and team members to assist with day-to-day segment operations; inquiries, projects, reporting, agency engagement, strategy, etc.
- Facilitation of global consortia Cvent (Lanyon) RFP hotel guidance, client submissions and rate loading. Assist with hotel training/support and communicate with global contracting relays and hubs, when required.
- Budget management of Accor’s TMC & Consortia funding models and master workbooks, with accounting hotel chargeback and invoice processing & tracking responsibilities.
- Client reporting and template creation to support performance reviews and segment goal setting and reporting.
- Ad hoc analysis and business modeling or projects (i.e. goal setting, campaign results summary, etc.), as required.
- Attend and participate in all required meetings with clients and sales team.
- Assist in organizing trade shows as required, and attend as needed.
- Create, maintain and update account files and SOPs in accordance with agreed upon standards during all sales phases (Proposal, Negotiation, Contracting, Rate Loading, etc.) and maintain accurate records of such within Accor’s proprietary Salesforce CRM.
- Proactively create and maintain sales presentations and segment account profiles & marketing roadmaps for Travel Industry Sales team.
- Assist with projects as required.
Your experience and skills include:
- Hotel sales, marketing or revenue management/analyst support, either on-property or in a regional / national office is an asset.
- Bachelor’s Degree with an accredited college or university optimal but not required.
- Mastery of Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point a MUST. High proficiency with Cvent (Lanyon) or ability to learn is required.
- Strong working knowledge of hotel management technology and tools such as Cognos or Salesforce CRM and/or marketing applications such as Adobe InDesign is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills, required. French or other second language is a plus.
- The ability to put problems, events and activities in perspective, and assess their long-term impact along with the technical and policy implications
- The ability to recognize the key indicators from all available data in order to maximize performance. Comfortable with high volumes of data with the ability to ascertain main takeaways and perform ad hoc analysis, if requested.
- The ability to organize and plan the means, resources and actions to achieve defined objectives coupled with the ability to find the common sense solutions
- The ability to influence the attitudes and opinions of others by exploring all reasonable positions of the different parties and knowing how to negotiate an agreeable solution
- The ability to create positive and lasting working relationships in one's environment internally as well as externally in order to pursue departmental/organizational objectives
- The ability to initiate action or take decisions, alone if necessary, and without needing very detailed instructions or information
- Is autonomous when taking a decision in view of a current or coming situation.
