The Commercial Transformation organization is critical to our Lenovo 'strategy for long-term success in driving and selling solutions beyond core PC to solve customer problems and gain relevance as leading commercial IT solutions provider.  As we continue to grow and expand our hardware, services, software, security Commercial portfolio, this team will help redefine, drive and execution change in how we sell to and manage our customers.  In addition to this we lead the charge for to redesign and transform how we manage, track and report the business a compensate our global sales force. Job Summary: The Global Program Manager for Commercial Solution Selling transformation will work with the global senior leaders across Lenovo to define and execute on our transformative strategic programs consistently and with high quality.  The areas of focus for this role are Segmentation, Fulfillment, Territory Coverage, and organizational design to bring efficiency, process, and standardization across the Commercial organization.  The ideal candidate earns trust through performance and relationship building, thinks strategically and analytically about business challenges, has experience in program management and has a deep analytic background to assist in meeting business objectives. The candidate will be a self-starter, with a bias towards independent problem solving, a passion for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, and has the foresight to anticipate business needs, make tradeoffs, and balance business dynamics despite constraints. What You'll Do • Program Management - Orchestrate overall program execution in collaboration with our geo commercial leaders and managers. • Consistently follow-through with senior leadership and all stakeholders. • Identify risks to project execution and effectively manage those risks; proactively raise prioritization and scheduling tradeoff decisions and escalating and identifying alternate options as appropriate. • Drive organizational change and governance to ensure geo leadership teams are making progress, hitting key milestones, and communicating with clarity and transparency • Be prepared to step in and actively project manage top level initiatives for IDG where needed • Program Communication & Reporting What Does Success Look Like? • The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment, will be able to manage through ambiguity and complexity, and constantly seek ways to invent, improve and simplify • Strong judgment and the ability to influence are all essential to success in this role. • Has broad technical skills, strong financial acumen, sales strategy experience, and an analytical background. · • Demonstrates the ability to think strategically and long-term, act tactically, takes ownership and has business leadership to meet the needs of complex businesses problems · • Earns Trust with internal stakeholders, prove the ability to deep dive data, is biased for action and drives for results through others. • Ability to think analytically, solve complex problems along with a keen attention to detail • Goal oriented, operationally disciplined and initiative driven focused on continuous improvement. • Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively across organizations. • Self-starter with strong work ethic and an ability to meet deadlines. • Good communication and presentation skills. • You are a game-changer, who will proactively identify issues and appropriate escalation paths, with mitigation and options for resolution. #### Position Requirements: Position Requirements: Key Requirements • Five plus years of experience in sales strategy, sales structure, business development or program management in large, multi-national, preferably tech organizations • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus • Strong judgement, ability to manage through ambiguity and complexity as well as a demonstrated ability to influence without explicit authority are key to success. · • Excellent cross group collaboration skills. • Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences. • Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement and govern processes, procedures and policies. · • Establish ways to measure and track metrics related to solution, and to make improvements to the approach based on those measurements • Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team • Fast learner who can quickly absorb the nuances of complex, interdependent situations. • Ability to seek to understand, solve conceptual problems, wrangle resources, and deliver results in challenging situations. • Strong sense of urgency balanced with patience and a sense of humor is a plus About Lenovo: Lenovo is a $51 billion global Fortune 250 company and leader in providing innovative consumer, commercial and enterprise technology.
